In Tucson yesterday morning got an email from Delta at 5:30 am cancelling our 2pm flight and rerouting through Atlanta to home. Arrive Atlanta, most flights to Minneapolis cancelled but low and behold 9pm flight is a go - except that it left at 11:30pm, one runway open at MSP, taxied out and there was a medical emergency on the plane, turn around, return to gate so paramedics can take the person off, leave again at 12:30 - shovel car out of parkngo, get stuck a few blocks from home, call 911, tow truck arrives an hour later and voila! - back in our house at 4:30 am - ONLY 10 HOURS LATER THAN EXPECTED with an $80 tow bill.
Over 17 inches of snow and still falling today....almost ready to beat the all time record of 76 inches and March has not started yet.
Still wanting tacos and ice cream:) - when we were flying in to MSP at 2am I said it looked like Russia - hmm - that's our next trip!
