Full of Mexican food yet?????

Finnalllllllyyyyyy - got to eat at Mi Nidito (My Little Nest) - tried Sunday 1.5 hour wait, tried Tuesday closed - voila today at 2pm only a 45" wait so I had a margarita and the combination plate of course - whoooo - lots of food so no ice cream yet today.
Next picture - menu from Poca Cosa last night - we had the last item on the list which was the "chef's selection" of 3 menu items chosen by the chef - Ross got 3 others - no dessert:)
After leaving Mi Nidito I asked Ross if he wanted to stop here for the best Sonoran hot dog - he said no to that - what a party pooper.
This is where I get my breakfast grapefruit - right beside the house. If I bought a house here it would be one of these - aren't they just beautiful - love the colors!

The "son" - don't know his name - of the owner. Loves to chat - has a culinary degree from Cordon Bleu in San Francisco - back in college for something to do with sustainable farming meanwhile painting for his mom and dad - she said she maybe pushed him into the culinary thing because she wanted to do that.
He tells me that during the monsoon season when "stupid" people in the foothills drive onto rain swollen roads that say DO NOT ENTER WHEN FLOODED - they are now charged a $10,000 rescue fee, pay to have their car dug out of a sandpile and car a total loss - quite an expensive stupid move. We see these signs at almost all low spots in the road going up into the hills.
Even though it is beautiful colors and right across the street from the other house Ross probably would not let us buy this one.

Bad weather coming in tonight - only going to be 68 tomorrow but wind gusts I guess. Tonight since we don't need dinner we will walk to the "tattoo street" and see about riding the trolley. Ross was kind enough to go to the Tucson Museum of Art with me and I love art museums.
Resting up on our final day to be ready to send Chris and Amy off to Happy Days in Florida while we tend to the homefront until her Mom arrives to share the love!
