Maturity is soooo Good!

I have been busy enjoying life! Good friends are the greatest, old friends even better. First picture Jeff and Donna (Donna and I worked together for over 20 years), Mike and Janelle (worked with her too - she called me her proxy mom sometimes). Had dinner at Mike and Janelle's last night and it was so great - good food and interesting chatter. With the range in age from the late 30s to the late 60s the talk goes from the latest IPhone/Smartphone deals to the nonvalue of long term care insurance. Jeff brings the newly brewed "growler" - a 64 oz bottle of freshly brewed and introduced beer - they stood in line that morning to get one. Mike the wine connoisseur introduced Ross to a wine aerator which I'm sure will show up at our door any day now - he loves Amazon. We have all been through so much and have always been there to listen to each other. Thanks Guys!
Backing up a bit to when we were less mature - May of 2009 and Jeff and Donna's house - kind of looks like Guy on the Food Channel - white spiked hair, big smile, loves to eat!
This last few weeks brought sobering new of breast cancer in an old friend, knee replacement, Valley Fever diagnosis - decided the best idea is to keep having fun every day for as long as we all can.
