Ross, a Muskogee friend from San Francisco, Jon's stepdaughter from previous marriage from Texas and his sister from Oklahoma. So fun to chat with new acquaintances.
Ross has been friends with Jon since grade school! - a few years ago we stayed overnight at their house here in Las Vegas. The big bash of about 60 people was pulled off without a flaw with people in from California, Colorado, Texas, Japan and I'm sure a lot of other places. Picture is of Jon and Ruth walking in. He had been told it was an event in honor of Ruth's teaching career! His college kids were there as was Ruth's sister. Her fiance is from Japan and his birthday is March 11 - the day of the great tsunami disaster in Japan. They said they were glad to be out of there for a few days now as it has changed their lives and the life of that country. Lovely buffet dinner was followed by cake and it is quite the cake!
Off soon to enhance my income with another few cent gain from the slot machines - maybe!
