Happy Birthday Dee and Amy!

Yes, I am now 63 and it is just fine. My birthday and Amy's are 4 days apart and we continue to celebrate together - day after day!
Alex delivered pink tulips to my door, the rest of the family other gifts including another bauble to add to my "Amy collection" that I wear on a neck chain - this one: It's not the destination, it's the journey.
Amy found out last week ( you will know this if you follow the caring bridge site) that she will need chemo and radiation probably mid-May. Lucy had her tubes in and adenoids out 4 days ago and seems to be recovering quickly and well. Amy is walking very well on bumpy ground, rocky ground and mulch. Hand is starting to be an active but frustrating participant. Over the weekend on an outing with Chris she forgot her purse (formerly did not carry one) at Bruegger's (it was recovered) and reports "It's not because of brain surgery"!!! She has the reins back and Alex is saying she is the "boss of the house"
We are looking forward to a lovely celebratory birthday lunch on March 31 and it is supposed to be 75 degrees - it's March!
Little Rooke in California locked herself in her bedroom for the 2nd time in a few days - the knobs are now changed to the no-lock kind. Life is good.
