Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. —MELODY BEATTIE

Another unanticipated adventure.....
Good morning - the Barcelona marathon is going on as I type.....ross and sara tried to train for it last night after she had her pursed snatched on the way home from dinner. .....they did not win the medal...or the purse. even though they ran very fast and Ross kept up with sara. A couple good Samaritans waited with me and then walked us to the police station through a sketchy area where ross nearly got pickpocketed again but pushed the guy away. sara got the credit cards cancelled, talked to her mom and sisters and soon we are headed to the picasso museum and then to the police station where they have a translator coming in at noon. we discussed at breakfast how this is mostly an annoyance and not a huge life problem:) we hope that we have received our quota but we have moved a few things around on our persons...not much to move for sara. next post should have pictures. dont need to worry about us as it is petty crime and more like in mpls to get mugged or shot!!!!!...puts things in perspective...won´t keep any of us from travelling.
