Got my raspberry malt in the Dairy building, salad on a stick, taste of corn dog, roasted pecans - mmmmm good - can't wait until next year. The Los Angeles Times does rate the MN State Fair as the best in the nation.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. —MELODY BEATTIE

State Fair - Round 2!
Creative Arts Building - a "figure" made entirely out of the free address labels we all receive in the mail - they all had the same name on them - probably the designer of the artwork! Bonus day today for $7 admission for a senior with a library card - can't beat that!
Thanks to my good friend Mardelle who shared the day with me, drove us there, parked us free in her friend's yard just a little over a block from the entrance gate - THANKS MARDIE:) We did visit the Spam building and each bought a $3 can of Spam - she bought garlic (much sold in Asia) and I black pepper (much sold in Europe)- they said they weren't sold in the US.
