Enjoyed our after-Christmas Christmas last night. I'm sure Lucy is telling Bapa something very important and when Lucy talks you must listen - even though she told me just yesterday morning she couldn't open any presents because she didn't "listen" - think maybe mom and dad were encouraging behavior change!

Chris and Amy looking quite cheery in their bright mismatched outfits - Amy told me today her best Christmas present was the card from Chris - I didn't read it but I'm sure it was perfect.

So yes Lucy does get a lot of attention. When she is hungry she eats, she does NOT talk. She loves peas and asked for a second helping. She eats peas one at a time with her fingers - we had a lovely leisurely dinner - think how long it takes to eat peas that way:) - especially wearing her paper crown!

My friend Cathy Munn invited me to see True Grit today - loved the movie and am now looking forward to the 1969 version with John Wayne - Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn wears an eye patch on his right eye; John Wayne in 1969 was on his left eye...either a medical miracle or a failure or maybe both???

It is nearly one year since Amy had brain tumor surgery and we are thankful for where we are today and the great strides she has made in overcoming enormous challenges and difficulties - Yeahhhhh - Amy!
