Knott's Berry Farm

Beautiful day here in Buena Park at Knott's Berry Farm. Good deal too as it is Military Appreciation Month and Brian is a 20 year veteran of the Navy - Nephew Andrew is in jail....the rest of us on the loose to explore the park which was so quiet that we never waited in line!

Nephew Andrew and Alex and the Girls!!! - Lucy hugged one and said "yo lips are poople" - only we in the know understand what that means - PURPLE!"

Chris anbd Alex in Jail - can you tell we had a so fun day. The big boys went on horrible rides, anyone else went on trains, log rides and a carousel and it was good.

Sharing Dippin' Dots - and yes, they are everywhere and they are good - if you haven't tried them - do it now.

So how did today end - all of us again collected at the Seal Beach house - tonight's pickup from Taco Surf just down the street and telling family stories. Grandma Hazel is treating us to all kinds of things as she was always doing and she is I am sure happy!!!! Lot of laughs and silliness. It seems so trite to sound so perfect all the time so I will tell you that as Tim the owner of the house was leading us on a tour at arrival I stepped off an unanticipated step into the living room - turned my ankled, landed on my knee, had to buy an cheap ankle brace at CVS but dang it is working good and I can still climb the berms on the beach.

Tomorrow is another lovely day of plans in SoCal!
