Family in Seal Beach - Wow!

What is life about but family! Last night's gather in our Seal Beach CA rental with the kitchen to die for - what did we have??? Takeout from El Burrito Junior a few blocks up the street and it was yummy. Special cupcakes to celebrate nephew Andrew's birthday this week compliments of his friend Amanda.

This was the view tonight from our rooftop patio! Wowie Kazowie - after this Brian made dinner for us and then onto the sandy beach for the famous Night Games - we all had our two dollar flashlights hanging from our neck straps - it was fun.
Alex definitely has inherited my love for the beach and I am sure could spend 12 hours a day out there. The house we rented has supplied us with boogie boards, beach toys and chairs - how good is life! Chris and Alex enjoyed the sun and sand!
This morning Amy, Ross, I, Alex, Lucy and Rooke walked the boardwalk to Seal Beach Pier - does Amy look happy to be here???? This was 9am - Chris was left home for a shower and a little peace and quiet after us all getting up at 6am to 3 children 5 and under....add to that a time zone change and daylight saving time change - we were screwed!
What else do you do on Seal Beach pier but kiss the seal - Lucy loved the seal - this is one of my favorite cities in the world - will return. The house we rented is the best ever as are the people we rented from - supplying us with all we need and more.Lucy loves the sand too but was a bit afraid when the water rushed up to her feet - but decided she loves the little seashells.
Have had a wonderful time with baby brother Brian - a big family get together last night and again today - again from our rooftop patio.
Tomorrow on to Knott's Farm with a bunch - great deal as Brian is a veteran and November is Military Month - did this a couple years ago too.

  1. Oh WOW does it look like fun. All the adults and kids look so happy. It is a much needed family celebration and such a good location. Get some sleep and take lots of walks. Thinking of you all. Kathy
