Life is Still Good!

My mom was so loved - the stories will be coming in my next post - from the nurse who I met tonight at the Lafayette High School fish fry who spent the last minutes with my mom to the picture of Brian posed with a funeral floral tribute (coming later) - acting the part....in between Pastory Gary praying for Amy and reading her tribute to Grandma Hazel at her funeral.,...below - a few hours after my mom's funeral and a long drive in two full cars through the country side to our old farm, my one room school house, the Schultz homestead which started as 2500 acres with Herman Schultz from Pommern Germany.
At Sportsmen's Park on the Clearwater River: Brian (brother), Chris, Karen (sister-in-law), Brandon (nephew)., Ross and Kent (brother) - what a wonderful time of love and laughter.

The family just after the Ladies Aid hot lunch at Bethany Lutheran Church and burial at Wylie Cemetery - we took the time to talk with the next generation about all the Schultz tombstones (there are many) and tell stories and try to determine what the German on Herman's tombstone said!

Just before the funeral in my mom's front yard.

The grandsons who were also casket bearers: Brandon, Chris and Corey - great-grandson Dustin and grandson Garrett.

The note on my mom's frig: "Life is too short to dance with ugly men"!!!! So much her personality yet she never said a bad word against anyone.
