Another great get-together for the FAB6 friends group. We walk up the front walk to our friends' front door, Mike and Janelle, and I look down and see these little signs. And of course I just happened to have my camera handy - always!! So starts the happy night.....
We always need a "family" picture of the 6 of us and they are good sports for my camera/photophobia. Donna and Janelle look much more proper than me but they also did not have 10 seconds on a camera timer to hit the chair and they are quite a bit younger!!! Great food, great night, sharing stories.

Lucy and Alex stayed overnight a couple nights ago and I find this on my fridge from Lucy who leaves little notes in lots of places! The first word is a "Lucy thing" as she makes up words as she goes and then tries to speak them....signs of a true language scholar or a silly 7 year old?? We've been gone so many weeks this spring and early summer that it seems she got pretty lonesome.
They come running into the kitchen with my old glasses, Great Grandma Dorothy's turquoise earrings and a wig.
And Alex who looks a little like a throwback from the 60s with a Slinky. Maybe Ringo Starr?
Beach day 2 days ago and the next day I woke up with sore muscles in my hands from digging "rivers in the sand" - well worth the pain for sure.
