Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. —MELODY BEATTIE

I'm having a lot of trouble with the internet connection here in Xi'an but all is well. Had a great day with the Terra Cotta Warriors - UNESCO now, a huge dumpling lunch and we have to leave the hotel at 5:40am tomorrow to catch a flight to Guilin which is supposed to be a lot more rural and peaceful. We will be going on a short cruise with a "box lunch" on the Li River. Hopefully I will be able to get some pictures on both facebook and here in the next day or so. All is well and we had a beautiful, perfect sunny, blue sky day - life is good!
