Hong Kong - Ladies Market!

So if it's Saturday it must be Hong Kong!!!  We have 8 elevators in our hotel and just today I figured out the carpet is changed each day and it tells the day of the week.  Great for elderly people like me:)
As a dietitian I just love this sign - it was in a store that sold workout goods.

It seems like religions get along here too.  We kept passing this beautiful mosque.  The discord seems to be between mainland China and Hong Kong and that is long-standing since Hong Kong was a British colony for 99 years until 1997 and still rather runs its own show as an SAR (Special Administrative Region).  Kind of like our current government:)
So on the tour bus yesterday it was slooowwwwww traffic and the guide said we would be passing by a robbery scene at this store called Diamond Collection.  There were police cars, TV stations cameras and do not cross lines (in Chinese of course).  The headline in today's paper:  "Gone in 60 seconds:  HK$10m in diamonds stolen"  The 2 thieves dressed as construction workers poured kerosene on the employees and used a crowbar to open the case with the most expensive diamonds with one being 10 karats.  They got away and no one was hurt.
Maybe the US does have some financial holdings in China - click to enlarge and note the hotels can be rented by the hour.
Even though we visited the Ladies Market they do not sell ladies - only a lot of knockoffs.  I got a nice leather purse, Ross got this suitcase and we got a bunch of other stuff all for 690 HK$ or $89USD.
So one more day, two more nights.   We saw our favorite travel friends, two couples, off about noon today with hopes to meet again somewhere.  Tonight we are on the search for a good Italian restaurant.  After the fish markets yesterday I don't believe I want fish or fried rice!!!
