The title: I heard that at least a hundred times from Rooke (not quite 3) while Jenny, Shannon and Rooke spent 4 nights with us. Ross and I took Alex and Rooke to the Minnesota Zoo and they were entranced with the Grizzlies! - the bears liked them too. (Should be able to click to enlarge most of the photos)

Birthday party for Rooke - Sweet Retreat Smore Cupcake does rather put one in a glazed daze. We had a great day for a party. She calls Shannon "Honey"....very cute.

Jenny (yes I can still call her that) got out her old Cabbage Patch dolls so here they are along with her very own live baby doll - much much cuter than the CP dolls.

At the zoo - Rooke called this the Mamarail (for monorail) and they certainly enjoyed the ride as did we. The benefit of having grandchildren is getting to do all this fun stuff all over again.....and having two little people constantly calling out "Grammy, can we.........?" - you finish it.

As I said a beautiful day for a party on July 31. Her birthday is actually August 27 - also would have been my mom's 84th birthday. Best way to get cupcake frosting off - a crocodile sprinkler.

Jenny and Rooke - I keep telling JJ that Rooke is just like her right down to the "night wandering without fear" - found her at 6:30am sleeping on the sofa in the family room all wrapped up - noone else on that floor of the house - no fear!
The best part I've ever played - grammy...right after this we did our famous "People Pile" - full of giggles me on the bottom.
This is my favorite photo - she is telling me about the Grizzly right behind her - no fear! Of course there is a glass wall separating the water from the child.
What next? Alex starts kindergarten in September - part of his supply list is 12 glue sticks - hmmmmm - lotta glue.
Having a couple of sleepover nights at our house then before we know it we will be in Germany - looking forward to it. Down to doing my microplanning now. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen..... to you and you and you.......- guess what - we'll be going on the Sound of Music Tour in Salzburg!
Ahhh, Dee. Jenny looks so happy and so proud of Rooke. Great photos!
