Who would have thought that two little girls from Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, population 1200 or so, would be sitting side by side at a Bloomington Theatre and Art Center's Writers' Festival and Book Fair???? ....a long name for a big giggle session for the two of us - not that much different than it was in the 1960s when we would giggle nonstop! And still sell books - very well in fact.
It was a big success for my good friend Beth and a great time to have them spend the weekend with us. She leaves behind a most wonderful gift basket for Amy and Chris with ----guess what: a signed book and Jer's homemade wine (yummy did we enjoy that) and Minnesota goodies including fishing lures.
Are those skulls on Beth's scarf?
ReplyDeleteHehehe - indeed they are and you are the first to notice - and from Germany; even Beth did not notice until she got it home from the store....por tanto appropriado (practicing my Spanish) See, you would fit in well with Beth and me: immature, a bit crazy and inappropriate sometimes.
