Spring is here!
As you can see from the big smile our trip to California after Egypt was welcomed! Even though Rooke got the flu while we were there she was a good sport about it and we did not get it nor was she crabby! We had a nice trip to Ontario and beautiful weather; the palm trees looked better than the ones in Egypt because they were not coated with desert dust. After Cairo the LA traffic was a piece of cake!
I will be making one final post of our Egypt trip and then in a few weeks we head to Rome and the Amalfi coast of Italy - this is a trip I am planning and am a cheapskate so it will be public transportation and renting apartments. This approach has never failed in the past.
Minnesota Wild won over Edmonton last night so the "gear" is appropriate.
