Sept 18 - heading from Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

The internet is incredibly slow here so I am far behind but have managed to keep up a bit on facebook.  So 8 of 8 safari game drives completed and we are now headed from here to Skukuza airport with a flight to Johannesburg and we are staying away from the city center as it is apparently not safe there.  Lots more photos to come - probably hundreds!

 Awesome birds but of course I can't remember what they are.  Our guide James is also a "birder" and knows birds by sounds and look and he has big books and a phone app.  So another bonus day for us!

 Water buffalo - and we have seen tribes and more tribes actually daily tribes at the watering hole right off the lodging patio.

OK - more later - off to the teeny airport heading to 45"flight to Johannesburg and 2 hour "estimated" drive to our next hotel.
