What is Christmas?
It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future.
It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal,

So here we go again off the beaten path - I am doing a "little surprise project" and had to dig in those "basement boxes" that we all have and I found this letter from our Jenny postmarked August 7, 1987, when she went with cousin Sara (aka the Inspired Adventurer now in Germany, Jenny the 911 dispatcher in Anaheim) to Camp Sakajawea in North Dakota. This is the letter and it is hilarious and niece Sara said she had "stuff- you know what" shooting out of her nose with laughter. You must have patience as you are dealing with a little kid's story - Patience is a Virtue!![]()

What can I say?? You gotta love 'em!
This is so funny! Kids sure are goofy:)
ReplyDeleteI love your quote of the day- a wonderful wish for all of us. Merry Christmas to you all across the ocean. Love Sara bean
ReplyDeleteThat was great. Don't you just love reading old letters and notes from the kids? Love the horse "tooting" story!
