Lots going on but lots to be thankful for!

We did manage to celebrate Thanksgiving with the BIG turkey.  We should have had 10 but a couple kids in Amy's sister's house got the raging flu that is everywhere and it was the day before Thanksgiving so down to 6 of us.  We like everybody else learns to go with the flow right???
This is the "good" picture!
This is the goofball picture and we can't forget to do that - ever!
So daughter-in-law Amy has completed the first of 5 weeks of radiation for the recurring brain tumor and I have done a lot of the driving along with her sister and our son Chris.  Tuesday this week we just happened to have 8 inches of snow so it was quite the adventure picking her up and driving the 15-20 miles to the radiation department at U of M.  Another day after 3 appointments in 2 different places we lucked out to be able to have lunch at our favorite place next to the hospital - Manny's Tortas!  Manny does not have a restaurant but he has this pickup place in the market and is always at the State Fair.

And Manny is so famous he had a popin visit from who else but the TV foodie star Guy Fieri!!!

We did get our tree up and it looks pretty darn good and Ross and i can still drag the thing up from the basement and set it up so not bad at 75 and 79 years old!

Granddaughter Lucy was at a mall in Texas with Chris during her lacrosse tournament and she texted me the Christmas decor of what else but my favorite - The Griswold family house and even Cousin Eddie and the travel trailer van are in it!
And gift to self - caramel corn from the Girl Scouts but I will wrap it.
And for us - we do have 4 trips books for 2023 and just today our travel buddies from Pennsylvania asked us if we wanted to do a trip in September 2024 - sure why not and when we booked it said it was 650 days from today so we better be alive😍
