I need a LOT of time to tell all the stories but we have been here for a week starting in Bucharest, on to Black Sea, then Bulgaria and our "boat" has just landed in Vidin Bulgaria. So much fun to be with our travel buddies again!!! We have hiked steep trails, had a little wine and beer, listened to a lot of history and giggled a whole lot and of course dessert a couple times a day.
I will do a full update with stories when I have more time!!!
OK today is 4 January 2023 and I'm catching up. This trip took us to 6 countries - Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Yugoslavia, Croatia and Hungary - wow!!!

First night on arrival a day early and guess who meets us in the hotel lobby????? Our best ever travel friends Greg and Linda.

On our small ship there are FOUR Alex and Alexander's and we are best friends and we get special treatment and of course our special corner table in the dining room like before. They were pretty happy to hear that both of us couples have a grandson named Alexander aka Alex! The MS Esprit holds 90 passengers and we only have 46 on the tour so never feel crammed in anywhere.
