'Tis the Season to be Busy!

Greetings and Blessings of the Season!
First week of December our great friends Beth and Jim were invited once again to "test Dee's recipes".  Since I love to cook and try new things and they are willing the date was on!
Next up:  Grand-niece Lily was in the play "Annie" at Andria Community theatre in Alexandria MN.  She played "Molly" and her mom's name is Molly who is my niece.  Happy and a little sad things pop up because her dad, my brother Keith, died from cancer when she was 6 months old in 1983.  How he would have loved these 4 little girls and he would have his usual huge smile seeing his granddaughter Lily.  Good side - they attach to me like glue and I love it!
Hazel (named after my mom Hazel) and Claire (my mom's middle name was Claire).

And the youngest 2 year old Ruby who is quite the silly charmer!  We got to spend the night at their house and they were pretty excited.
And the Fab Four :) - Lily, Claire, Hazel, Ruby and the old folks:
After the Annie play - Lily was great and does have a reserved personality but it sure was not reserved in the play!  She was the youngest of the cast at 8 years old and they had 9 performances so long evening hours, a tryout, many rehearsals and she was sad when it was over!
And Ross is the latest choir endeavor - hard to see and I don't like to take photos in church!!!!  We are having this group for a holiday party tonight and it seems there are 35-40 who will be here and bringing lots of good food.  Since it's a new church we don't really know them!!!
And last night:  Lucy is in the Glendale Chorus 4th grade in her school and they also did a great job singing.  The first song called "Coffee" was my very favorite as coffee is my lifetime favorite!!!!  They are performing at a Starbucks in a big grocery market so very appropriate for that.

The gym was busy so the concert was in the cafeteria and there were very nice signs all over reminding kids what is important in life.  Lucy is the littlest one in the bottom row.
So - on we go and we do have something going on every few days and we are lucky to be healthy, busy, and active.  First up - get those stocking stuffers!!!!
