Everyone around on 9/11/2001 remembers that day. I was at work at the hospital and a coworker came in about 9am and had a very sad look on her face and told us what happened as we did not have TV around. It was the quietest day ever at the hospital. And every year on this date I go one block down to the Catholic church lot where Tom Burnette and family attended and there is a memory stone there and
Always flags
This is from a trip in 1991 we took with our kids and niece to the east coast and NYC and those are the twin towers in the background. How life changes!
And again since we took our grandkids on their age 10 trip of their choice granddaughters Lucy and Tooke chose NYC and we did the visit to the museum and they read every word.
Then to the 9/11 memorial wall and they had paper and pencils for stone rubbing some of the names and we found Thomas Burnett who saved 96 passengers from crashing into the White House by getting into the front to "hijack" and it crashed in Shanksville PA where all were killed but may have saved hundreds of lives at Washington DC.
