What better way to start a year than to have your daughter and grandaughter arrive on New Year's Day 2021 from California. We already played a game of Apples to Apples and didn't beat each other up or accuse of cheating! Rooke is 13 and still loves to come to Minnesota - woohoo - lucky Grammy and Bapa for sure.
And they bring me a fantastic much loved coffee beans from the family of their friends The Pitottis!!! And just a side note he is a pastor and she is a music teacher and they sing together in their church services which I can watch online. How great is that!

And in the 1990s Ross was working in England and the kids visited and Jenny got this Doc Martin shoe candle and I still have it in case she needs to wear it outside after lighting the wick - NOT!!
This is why you might need a boot and we have a really pretty pile of the white stuff at our house. And we are looking forward to them spending a whole week with us - very easy to have around, chat and relax!
