So we've been in LaPaz, Bolivia about 24 hours more and then have 12 hours left. Short note here because it's 5:30pm - happy hour - and farewell dinner for group at 6pm.
We have to leave the hotel at 2:30am and it will take us a total of 36 hours or so to get home - it's complicated.
More later but a short note. City tour today and this is the "Badlands" of Bolivia - It sound wierd but I said it "wasn't too bad" at 13,700 feet but of course we took a bus up much of the way.
There have been quite a few "doctor" visits in the hotels for our group - altitude sickness, bronchitis, pharyngitis, bad cough and cold and general ugh! I'm sure it's at least 8 people including Ross today for "pharyngitis". The visit is no charge and we'll find out about the prescriptions from the pharmacy across the street when we pay our final bill. I would guess not much.
